A trip down memory lane

A trip down memory lane

I have recently been trying to restore some order to my bookshelves and while I was in the midst of working I came across a photo album with a variety of different pictures of all of my favorite things.  Of course, amongst these were several pictures from along the Lincoln Highway so I thought that I’d post them for everyone to see.  Let me first apologize, though, because these are pictures of pictures so the quality might not be that great.

First up is a picture from… Yeah, I actually have no idea other than it’s along the LH.  Anybody recognize this place?

Then there’s the General Warren Inne in Malvern, Pennsylvania.  I drove past here once, but never got the chance to stop in although it looks like a really neat place!

And, of course this is a picture of the old Hanoverton Hardware.

I believe that this is the Control Station in East Canton.  I know that this picture and maybe some of the others say that they’re from 1998, but it isn’t true.  It’s more like that they were all taken somewhere between 2002 and 2003.

Here are a few shots from Lisbon.

Of course I saved my two favorites for last!!

I love these two pictures for many reasons, not the least of which is that the ‘lighthouse’ is still standing!

So, until I head out on the road again or dig up more pictures, here’s to you and here’s to the road…
